In celebration of Final Fantasy III's 30th anniversary, the Final Fantasy Portal Site has kicked off a special interview series.

Volume 1 is available now and it's with Hiromichi Tanaka.

In it he talks about his involvement in the game's development, what he was responsible for, memories, legacy, how the making of the Moogle wasn't that memorable and more.

He also talks about his prior games including Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy II and his later projects like Secret of Mana and Final Fantasy XI.

Plus he also talks about his reasoning for leaving the Final Fantasy team early in the development of Final Fantasy IV.

The second volume will feature Koichi Ishii.
