Square Enix Japan has gotten behind Apple's new game subscription service Apple Arcade with a brand new exclusive launch title from the team behind the Bravely series and Octopath Traveler series.

Titled Various Daylife it is categorised as a "Daily Life & Adventure RPG". It is available in English, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Traditional Chinese and Turkish.

It was developed by DokiDoki Groove Works, and as producer Tomoya Asano has revealed it actually started work about 3 years ago.

Apple Arcade is available for $4.99 USD a month with a one month free trial also available.

It is compatible with a variety of the latest Apple devices including iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV. This marks just the second Japanese game published by Square Enix to support Apple TV after Chrono Trigger.

It is currently unknown if the Final Fantasy series will see a release on this service in the future nor if there is some sort of exclusivity contract for this game but it's interesting to see regardless.
