Square Enix has announced ahead of Tokyo Game Show 2019 that they will release Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition worldwide on January 23, 2020.

It will be available for PlayStation 4 via the PlayStation Store, Nintendo Switch via the Nintendo eShop, iOS via the Apple App Store and Android via the Google Play Store.

A physical release will be available for both PS4 and Switch in Japan but none has been announced at this time for the rest of the world which makes it unlikely to have one since Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon Every Buddy! had the same situation.

Pre-orders from the PlayStation Store will receive a custom PS4 theme.

They also revealed that you will be able to play across all four platforms with cross-play and transfer save data across all four platforms.

The game will also include new dungeons and bosses, new character skins, new items, two new theme songs, new audio narration and new voice acting.
