Producer Yoshinori Kitase and director Tetsuya Nomura took to Square Enix's E3 2019 Live Event to give an extended look at Final Fantasy VII Remake.

The main highlight from all of the new footage was of course the long awaited reveal of Tifa. They showed her in cutscenes and also in battle with a bit of Aerith in battle as well.

They also spoke about how the battle system works and showed a proper look at the gameplay.

They have also revealed the English voice actors for the main characters revealed so far in the first episode:

Cloud, voiced by Cody Christian (All American, Teen Wolf)

Barret, voiced by John Eric Bentley (Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Independence Day: Resurgence)

Aerith, voiced by Briana White (Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, Occupants)

Tifa, voiced by Britt Baron (GLOW)

Jessie, voiced by Erica Lindbeck (Spider-Man, Persona 5, ThunderCats Roar)

Biggs, voiced by Gideon Emery (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Teen Wolf)

Wedge, voiced by Matt Jones (Breaking Bad)

Sephiroth, voiced by Tyler Hoechlin

Finally, they also showed off the game's Deluxe Edition which will include a hardback art book featuring stunning concept art, a Mini-Soundtrack CD, Summon Materia DLC allowing players to summon Cactuar in game, and a Sephiroth SteelBook Case. The Digital Deluxe Edition contains a digital art book, a digital Mini-Soundtrack, and Summon Materia DLC allowing players to summon Carbuncle and Cactuar in game.

And the “1st Class Edition” which includes all of the Deluxe Edition content, the Carbuncle Summon Materia DLC, as well as a Play Arts Kai Cloud Strife and Hardy Daytona box set (bundled separately), which will only be available in limited quantities from the Square Enix Store.

Despite all of this information they still have yet to properly talk about how the game's episodic structure will work. They have not confirmed how many episodes there will be, how save file for each episode will affect each other nor how long we will have to wait between episodes just for starters.

Would also be nice if they revealed more staff for the game.
