Square Enix has announced their big support for Google's new cloud-based gaming platform, Stadia which launches in November for the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Belgium, Finland, Denmark, Ireland, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden.

Among the launch line-up for the platform is Final Fantasy XV but Square Enix's support will also see Tomb Raider (2013), Rise of the Tomb Raider and Shadow of the Tomb Raider all available at launch.

Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal's in development title called Marvel's The Avengers will also be released for the platform alongside the releases on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Final Fantasy XV producer Shinji Hashimoto who also appears to still be Final Fantasy Brand Manager despite stepping away from the Kingdom Hearts series and heading up any game development studios or divisions, had this to say.

“We’re pleased with the opportunity to bring the engaging characters and immersive world of FINAL FANTASY XV to even more players through the Stadia platform. The journey of Crown Prince Noctis is the perfect adventure for players to enjoy through Stadia.”
