Square Enix actually fixed a notable issue in Final Fantasy ports

Praise be to Yevon, Square Enix has actually fixed a notable issue in ports of a Final Fantasy game.

The patch released today (or yesterday depending on where you live) for the Xbox One and Nintendo Switch versions of Final Fantasy VII finally fixes the infamous music looping issue.

As they put it:

This fixes an issue that caused background music to restart after the end of each battle, and other minor bugs.

It only took them 2 whole months but it's still great to see them do it, I always say better late than never. So thank you Square Enix, now please do this for the other versions of the game, as well as Final Fantasy IX and continue to fix issues in your other games and bring them on par with other versions by letting everyone have access to any additional features you come up with.
