Takashi Tokita, who was incharge of the game design and scenario for Final Fantasy IV and has directed games like Chocobo Racing, Final Fantasy IV (Nintendo DS remake), Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light and produced games like Final Fantasy IV: The After Years and Final Fantasy Dimensions I and II is now a member of Tokyo RPG Factory's board.

It was previously revealed he was serving as creative producer on the studio's current project Oninaki but in an interview published on PlayStation Blog he revealed his new position along with explaining that his special thanks on the studio's previous games were for providing production assistance and supervision for some parts of the games.

Also in this interview he discussed his work on Final Fantasy VII revealing that he returned to Japan while working on Parasite Eve in order to get a visa to stay living in LA (where the game was being made) only to be pulled into helping with the last 3 months of Final Fantasy VII's development. While crazy he says this experience helped him with finishing Parasite Eve.

You can check out the full interview here. In this he also talks about his work on Chrono Trigger.

It's currently unknown if Tokita is still working at Square Enix in some capacity or if he has moved to Tokyo RPG Factory (a studio wholly owned by Square Enix) completely.

He was previously apart of Square Enix's Business Division 8 who are now apart of Creative Business Unit 4.
