Square Enix has announced that the Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Free Edition will be released outside of Japan on March 12, 2019.

It will be available via the PlayStation Store for PlayStation 4 and Steam for PC. It will support English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean and Traditional Chinese text. Dual-audio for English & Japanese will also be available.

Just like the Japanese version of the Free Edition, the 4 available characters will rotate on a weekly bases. Characters and weapons will also be available for purchase. The six characters added through the Season Pass are not included.

And of course the Free Edition is completely compatible with the full version so both versions can play together. Those who wish can also transfer their data from the Free Edition to the full version.

The PC version will feature full controller support as well as support for Steam Cloud and Steam Achievements.

A PlayStation Plus subscription is still required for online play on PS4.

Square Enix has yet to confirm if the full version will be released on PC but the Steam page for the Free Edition makes it seem very likely.
