Square Enix and developer gumi have announced at the Fantasy Brave Exvius Fan Festa in Japan a spin-off titled War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius.

Scheduled for delivery in 2019, it will be a Tactical RPG. This will mark a return to the genre for the series as a whole.

It is being co-developed by gumi who of course develop the main game Final Fantasy Brave Exvius.

It features image illustration from Isamu Kamikokuryo who has previously worked on many Final Fantasy titles including Final Fantasy XII, Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy XIII-2, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy XV.

There is currently no confirmation of platforms but all games developed by gumi have been free-to-play games for mobile devices. And it clearly states "delivery" which further proves it.

And also while there's currently no announcement for an English release the game's teaser trailer and website feature plenty of text in English which makes it quite likely.

You can check out the trailer below and the website here.
