Square Enix and Microsoft have announced that the Final Fantasy XIII series is coming to Xbox One via backward compatibility on November XIII, 2018.

Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy XIII-2 and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII will all be playable on Xbox One via both the disc and digital versions, with Final Fantasy XIII to be available digitally on console for the first time ever.

In addition, the 3 games will also be Xbox One X Enhanced allowing you to play them in 4K Ultra HD.

It will of course support all Xbox 360 game saves, add-ons, achievements and Gamerscore.

And you will also be able to use Xbox One game features like Game DVR, Screenshots and Windows 10 streaming.

The three games are of course available on PC but it's great to see them finally available on a modern console again.
