Square Enix has announced that the Jupiter-developed free-to-play title, Pictlogica Final Fantasy will be shut down in Japan on November 30, 2018.

Pictlogica is a puzzle game that was launched for iOS and Android in 2013, and for Nintendo 3DS in 2017. It was only ever released in Japanese, but for some reason it appears in the Apple App Store outside of Japan.

The game featured some notable staff from Square Enix including Yasuhisa Izumisawa where she first created the chibi character designs later used in World of Final Fantasy along with writer Hiroki Chiba.

Square Enix says that they will offer an offline version after it has been shut down, what it will include will be revealed at a later date.
