Square Enix has announced Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is coming to PlayStation 4 worldwide in early 2018.
As expected, it is based on the arcade version that has been available in Japan for nearly two years and will include all the same characters and stages.
Like the arcade version it is being developed by Koei Tecmo's Team Ninja and will feature online and offline battles.
It will feature a story written by Kazushige Nojima but it won't have a dedicated story mode.
Noctis from Final Fantasy XV has been confirmed to be playable.
It will also be playable at E3 2017 where producer Ichiro Hazama, director Takeo Kujiraoka, Justin Wong of Echo Fox and K-Brad will hold a panel at the E3 Coliseum on Tuesday, June 13 at 3:15 PM PST.
The arcade version will however remain the focus despite the console version coming soon.
