Final Fantasy Explorers Will Offer 20 Jobs To Choose From

Written by Lauren — 18 Jun 2014

Final Fantasy Explorers will have about 20 jobs including the four jobs that were initially revealed last week.

Knight, Monk, Black Mage, and White Mage were a part of the original four announced. In this week's issue of Famitsu, they've expanded that list including many more job classes such as Ninja, Thief, Paladin, Time Mage, Bard, and Dragoon. The game is set on an island with various areas to fight in.

As far as gameplay is concerned, Final Fantasy Explorers will offer an experience much like Final Fantasy XI/XIV where players will be travelling around defeating monsters and keeping logs. Much like Final Fantasy XIII-2, players will be able to have monsters as party members once you defeat and befriend them.

Players will be able to learn various abilities from the different classes to use out on the field and should you use an ability with its matching job class, you will be able to use the ability at half the cost.

The game's main portion is said to last anywhere from 100 to 200 hours worth, and that's not even including the main story.

Still no word on when we'll be seeing this title or if it's coming over to the states.
