Final Fantasy VII Remake Release Date

The hype started following the fabled Final Fantasy VII Tech Demo for the PS3 at E3 2005 and despite consistent efforts to try and play down interest, Square Enix ended up giving in and announcing what is now one of the most anticipated games of all time, the Final Fantasy VII Remake.

So when's the Final Fantasy VII Remake release date you ask? Well, at this stage we know very little. One thing we do know, is that the Final Fantasy VII Remake, when it does release, will be split into multiple parts in order to fully do the game justice. It's a decision that was taken by the game's director, Tetsuya Nomura, and it's not one that was taken lightly.

Another interesting point to note is that the Final Fantasy VII Remake is only planned to release exclusively on the PS4. Whether that's timed exclusivity remains to be seen, but it's the only announced console so far.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Release Date:

  • North America: TBA (Expected 2017)
  • Europe: TBA (Expected 2017)
  • Japan: TBA (Expected 2017)

It means, if you're interested, that the first part of the Final Fantasy VII Remake will hopefully be releasing within the next 114.96 days.
