The Crystal Bearers was touted as one of Nintendo's biggest products during this year's E3, but it doesn't look like Square Enix is willing to offer them the same kind of support.

In an interview with Nintendo Power, Toshiyuki Itahana, the game's director, stated that the game will not be compatible with Wii MotionPlus:

Toshiyuki Itahana: "We considered this option, but we have abandoned. To take control of The Crystal Bearers is made to be intuitive and does not require greater sensitivity. "

It would be interesting to know how they planned to implement it, had the proposal been given the green light. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers is scheduled to be released this winter and will be displayed at the upcoming GamesCom 2009 in Cologne.
