Final Fantasy's 25th anniversary celebration has just got a bit more interesting as Square Enix are allegedly planning to reveal the future of the Final Fantasy XIII during the three day event in Shibuya.

Square Enix has revealed the name of one of the panels at the events and "Final Fantasy XIII Lightning Saga: New Developments Presentation" is definitely an eye-catcher. Also, the director and producer of the game will apparently be in attendance.

Would this mean that Square Enix is ready to do another sequel for Final Fantasy XIII before Final Fantasy Versus XIII? Guess we'll just have to wait and see when the panel occurs on September 1st.
