Final Fantasy XIII-2 is still quite a few months away, but it looks like Square Enix are already planning for the future, as they've registered a new domain name for Final Fantasy XIII-3.

Now, this could very well be them just protecting their brand, something which Activision know all about, but they typically don't buy domains unless they plan to use them.

Could they really be planning a Final Fantasy XIII-3? Final Fantasy X-3 was always rumoured, but never saw the light of day, but this could be an entire generation of Final Fantasy XIII titles, instead of what we've come to expect in the past.
