Little has been known about Final Fantasy XIV since its shock announcement at this year's E3 in Los Angeles. However, a Japanese magazine has just published some fresh information, which details some jobs, as well as the names of some of the races that will appear in the game.
The first few screenshots show what looks like some names of the races. The first is a Galka, which is now called Roegadyn, the second is a Hume, now called Hyuran, with the third being a Tarutaru, now called Lalafell.
In terms of Jobs, the Samurai was shown in the original trailer, but these scans show off the Black Mage (BLM) and Paladin (PLD) classes. Both of which are familiar favourites with players of Final Fantasy XI.
The final scan shows that all of the Final Fantasy XI races will indeed be represented in Final Fantasy XIV. It doesn't mention if any new races will be added, however.
