Square Enix in Japan has release their final Final Fantasy XIII trailer leading up to the games Japanese release. There will likely be more trailers for North America and Europe however, considering this latest trailer is in Japanese. Furthermore, the NA and EU release date is set for March, and Square Enix has promised to deliver something special on the 13th day of each month between now and the NA and EU release of Final Fantasy XIII.
The latest trailer is a whopping five minutes long, mostly consisting of new cutscenes, and a number of new characters. The atmosphere is fairly tense throughout the trailer, and looks like it will be reflecting that mood in the entire game. In Square Enix style, the trailer leads with about three minutes of cutscenes, shows off a minute or so of gameplay, then brings things to a close with more cutscenes.
Hopefully Square Enix bring out an English version of the trailer. Considering all the English voice work is all complete, the likelihood of that happening is pretty good. Check out the trailer below.

Well I do believe that pessimism is better than optimism, then if the game is rubbish you won't be disappointed because you though all along it could be, and if its good its double the pleasure!

That last scene of the trailer was f'in EPIC! An entire scene with the main heroes and their summons, I don't think there has been anything like that in past Final Fantasy's! I'M SO BLOODY HIGH RIGHT NOW!
Note, that one part did look like TRON with Snow and Shiva xD hahaha

That truly is a great trailer! :D So many new villans YAAY - confimed (I think) that the Noctis twin character is the until-now-missing Sid, and get a load of that evil old guy! Woooot I cant wait for an English version of this.
...and yeah Transformers or what at the end. And Tron... :P

This trailer was AWESOME. I saw some cutscenes from the TGS trailer, but most of it was new! I especially loved the last 10 seconds or so. The summons everywhere just tearing it up. It was like transformers, but Final Fantasy xD
I can't wait :D

Based on the Oerbas conversation at 2:30, I think it is pretty fair to call them siblings. Vanille has a pretty sad face splitting up with Fang after she tells snow to run.

Just watched it. That was soooooo EPIC!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!! Just so fricken AWESOME!!!!!:eek: I mean the first half was mostly stuff we had already seen, but the second half, sooooo many new characters they were just turning up by the truckload. And then all the fast paced action was just awesome. I'm so much more excited about Final Fantasy XIII now then I was 5 minutes ago. Now March 9th feels like an eternity away. The next three months better go quickly, I'm sick of waiting.
