Fantastic podcast guys. keep up the good work.

Well thats fair enough. I didn't really think of it that way, and I can understand that some people wouldn't be interested in hearing about you guys, and they just want FF & KH related content.

I suppose there is no way to compromise on this, because if you want to shrink it down to just 30 minutes then you will definitely have no time for anything of the sort I suppose, which is a right shame in my, and certainly others, opinion. Oh well, do what you have to do to keep the podcast...s on their feet, and to hopefully get sponsors. :D

It makes sense of course, because you aren't a machine and you shouldn't be expected to do ridiculous amounts of editing, but I think a 'what you been doing' type section even every few podcasts shouldn't be too much work, should it? It would just add that now somewhat missing slice back to the FXN pie
Remember that we all listen partly because we like you guys! As people that is, and we are surely all interested in what you have been up to. I can deal with the episode lengths being shorter now, because I understand that was a strain mostly on you Kyle, but the podcasts could do with the addition of some personality back in to them, either through what you been doing, or a small joke section like there used to be, if that isn't too difficult for you to arrange.

Hmm, I don't think the show is lacking personality, as that comes across pretty well in how we discuss and joke around. I think what you mean is it may not be as personal anymore, which is true as we now mostly leave our personal lives out of the show.

It's a tough debate, as some people, like yourself, loved Whatcha Been Doing, where we'd talk about stuff like school, fun stuff we've been doing, or other game's we've been playing, or shows and music we've been listen...ing to/watching. Then there's other people who simply hate it. At first as you may remember I put in a "Podcast Wrap-Up" mini-segment before the music segment after we cut Whatcha Been Doing, but then I eventually cut the Podcast Wrap-Up Segment.

As the producer, I'm against having a Whatcha Been Doing segment, as they're very hit-and-miss, and a large amount of listeners don't care to hear it. The shows are about FF and KH, and not advertised as about us, so when people who come for KH or FF hear us going on and on about ourselves for 10-30 minutes, they stop listening, and possibly stop subscribing.

On the other hand, I don't think the Podcast Wrap-Up segment was bad, I just cut it to save some more time. As you'll notice it returns time to time, like in FXN29 when Lauren talked about the concert she's going too for that KH singer. Is something like that suffice enough? I mean, do you really want to hear about David's school work, and Jamie and I scratch our heads to think of something to say in that segment?

If we even have like, 5 minutes to fill and for some reason haven't hit the 30 minute mark yet, I might try a wrap-up segment, not sure, and I can't see us having a problem filling 30 minutes xD.

I also don't mind if you guys ramble on a little bit. I personally will not get frustrated or blow up. Yeah it's cool to be professional but this community right now is pretty tight and I personally like it, one of the main reasons I like GU so much.

I totally understand what you mean about the release date. It's cool that it is being released in march but jeeebus I was 14-15 when this game began production. I'll be almost 20 when it is finally released!

Just finished listening to it, Kyle! (I almost typed "Jyle" :O) I downloaded it this morning, but I completely forgot about it until now, he he he. ^_^;;>

Anyway, I liked this one. But then I end up liking every episode you guys do. XD The rim-shot was funny and I laughed out loud at the cricket chirps, hahaha. Love the sarcasm! :D

Kyle, listened to the podcast about 3 hours ago. Was so happy to see a new one out feels like it has been forever.

Good stuff like usual, I honestly prefer gaming unions podcast to stuff like beyond, 1up, etc. With that sad.

I am a little confused as to how the merging between KHU and FXN will work, will it be like the GU podcast feed? As in GU and the Reviews are all downloaded into one feed when you subscribe to it? Just curious that is all.

Also, I know ...I have mentioned this before but is there a way we can hear remixes other then FFVII and FFIV? I know OCremix has the lifestream album and Echoes of Betrayal but there are 11 other main themed albums ^^ sorry :( it's just that I have listened to those albums soo many times, lol....

Also, does it get tiring for you guys with doing so many podcasts, + site + forum posting? I kind of wish we had one spot for FXN/Gaming Union people to all post at. I know that's what I believe the staff might be trying to do with GU but there are so many more posters on FF-XIII.net and it feels like I need to post at both places lol, especially when a new EP of FXN comes out.
