So after the Japanese achievement list for Final Fantasy XIII was leaked, rumours spread like wildfire that Final Fantasy XIII would release on the Xbox 360 in Japan, where it is a PlayStation 3 exclusive.

Not anymore, as the game was confirmed to hit 360s in Japan on December 16 in the latest edition of Dengeki Magazine.

Not everything's happy over at Square Enix though as Yoichi Wada, CEO of the company, has been on the receiving end of less than encouraging tweets from fans all over.

Is it true? After saying so many times it would never be released on the Xbox in Japan, if you really do release it nobody will trust your word again.

Well those are certainly some passionate, if not very upset, fans. It's got nothing to do with the fact that it's just the English 360 version with Japanese subtitles, no extra bonus content or that it'll retail for half the price of the PS3 version, just so you know.
