Dissidia Duodecim: Final Fantasy Announced
Last year, Square Enix stated that the Western sales of Dissidia: Final Fantasy would make or break the chances of a sequel. It looks like the game sold well enough for them, as Square Enix has just announced a sequel.
The leak comes from the latest issue of Weekly Shonen Jump, which reveals the game's title, Dissidia Duodecim: Final Fantasy. Lighting from Final Fantasy XIII and Kain Highwind from Final Fantasy IV will be included in the sequel. The scan doesn't confirm anything else, but it's likely the game will have the characters from the first game playable again.
Dissidia Duodecim: Final Fantasy is set for a 2011 release in Japan. Square Enix has yet to announce a North American or European release.
