The official theme song to Final Fantasy XIII was officially unveiled a Square Enix's private party a few days before this year's Tokyo Game Show. It was sung by Sugawara Sayuri and is entitled Kimi Ga Iru Kara. It's also composed by famed Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu.
Up until now, only a sneak preview of the song had been heard, but we can now offer a full mp3 download of the song, which was played on Japanese Radio.
It looks like the news just keeps rolling in! Thanks to a recent news story on the Japanese television channel "Mezamashi TV," we've been treated to a bit of the theme song for Final Fantasy XIII. The singer's name is Sugawara Sayuri, and the name of the song is "Kimi ga Iru Kara", or "Because You're Here." Even though we only hear a bit of it on this clip, it sounds like it has promise.
A new character was also released at the FFXIII Premiere Party--Serah, who is said to be Lightning's sister and (possibly) Snow's fiancee. Yoshinori Kitase refers to her as "the cutest girl in the game". No good scans have come to attention of her yet, but short footage can be seen in the news clip revealing the theme song.
