Scans Of Alexander, Final Fantasy XIII's Chocobos Appear

A few days ago, we revealed that Hope Estheim's summon would in fact be Alexander. This has now been confirmed, as the scans from Shonen Jump Magazine have made their way onto the internet.

The scans also show off Alexander, and reveal that his Gestalt mode will see him turn into an even bigger giant colossus. It actually has more in common with a fort. Chocobos will be return with their primary purpose, allowing fast travel in the larger environments. However, this time the Chocobos have a life bar. They will also be able to dig and travel through secret paths.

Vanilla Unveiled In New Final Fantasy XIII Scan

Although she has previously been known by either Pig Tails Girl or Nomchan, this mystery character now has a name....sort of. It was unveiled today in a Shonen Jump scan that her first name is Vanilla, but the rest of her name still remains shrouded in mystery.

Some speculate that another part of the name might be Dia, or Diai, while there is also a third part which is also causing confusion; some believe it may be Wolva or Olva. Either way, it will probably be announced sooner or later, perhaps in the next issue of Famitsu which should be hitting relatively soon?

Mr. 33cm Gets A New Codename - Snow

In an advanced preview of next week's Shonen Jump there is a small feature on Fabula Nova Crystallis - primarily some of the characters which will be featured in the games. The main headline is that the aptly named Mr. 33cm now has an official codename, much like Lightning. His new codename will be Snow, which to be honest isn't exactly that endearing.
