Final Fantasy Explorers-Force finally available and online in Japan

It has taken a lot longer than any one would have expected but Final Fantasy Explorers-Force is now finally available on iOS and Android in Japan. And after some issues, the servers are now finally online.

Final Fantasy Explorers-Force, the follow up to the Nintendo 3DS game, was announced back in February 2017. They held a beta for Android later in 2017 and after this decided to delay the game to 2018 in order to improve the game. The app was finally released on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store on March 15, but the servers only went up on March 20, 2018.

In various Japanese interviews, director Takahiro Abe has revealed that they originally considered to make the game for Nintendo 3DS but decided to develop it for mobile in order to have a larger player audience and because they felt like there wasn't enough action games on mobile. He also confirmed the game runs at 60fps.

There has still been nothing to suggest a release outside of Japan.
