To celebrate the completion of the large scale Final Fantasy X event in the Japanese version of Mobius Final Fantasy that helps bride the gap between Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2, key staff behind the game have responded to fans comments on the event.

This includes producer Yoshinori Kitase, director Motomu Toriyama and lead scenario writer Daisuke Watanabe.

You can read them below thanks to Sato.

Fan: Starting with the FF7 collab, followed by FF13, FF7Remake collab, and now the FF10 collab, the quality continues to improve and I cannot express it enough in words. I’m truly grateful for all the feelings (^-^) I cried a lot, Jecht would laugh at me.

Yoshinori Kitase: Thank you. The collaboration content is a direct lineage of work by the FFX staff, starting with a scenario by Watanabe and Toriyama as director. After all, we won’t be holding back on the precious title that we’ve created! I am glad that those feelings reached out as well.

Fan 2: It’s been 15 years. After encountering this new story, I’ve realized that my sadness of Tidus’ disappearance has not been cured. However, I’ve only been thinking about the sorrow of Tidus disappearing, but I never thought the resolution Tidus had to face. Thank you, for finally filling this empty hole that’s been in my heart for 15 years.

Motomu Toriyama: As a developer, I had fun creating the 16-year reunion between Tidus and Yuna, using the borrowed stage of Mobius Final Fantasy told in the style of a Final Fantasy X reunion. I hope those who played FFX back in the day will get to watch through the story of their reunion until the very end.

Fan 3: [This guy quotes something from Tidus but I don't know what the exact English quote is, but it’s about Tidus saying something about an excuse and giving up, which was misunderstood by Yuna. And he basically just says thanks for everything after going through almost 20 years of sadness.]

Daisuke Watanabe: After going back to FFX which felt like we did everything we needed to at the time, I’ve noticed that there were still some feelings that needed to be shared and a story that needed to be told. It would make me happy to see both Mobius and FFX be FFs that you’ll all remember.
