Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age comes to PC on February 1

Square Enix has announced Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age will be released worldwide for PC via Steam on February 1, 2018.

Everything from the PlayStation 4 version will be included along with support for both 60fps and 21:9 monitors.

But that's not all, New Game Plus and New Game Minus will also be available from the very start. The original, re-orchestrated and soundtrack versions will also be available from the beginning of the game.

Business Division 3 are continuing their history of adding boosters or 'cheats', with maximized License Points and Gil. These are new options added to grant players max License Points and Gil from the configuration screen.

There will also be Steam Trading Cards, Steam Cloud and full controller support.

It will be available in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese and in a BD3 first on PC: Simplified Chinese.

Those who purchase on Steam within the first week of release will also get a 20% discount, a three-track digital music compilation and a new wallpaper illustrated by one of Final Fantasy XII's art directors, Isamu Kamikokuryo.

According to the system requirements section of the Steam page it does not officially support 4K resolutions.

It will cost $49.99 in the U.S. They're also re-releasing the collector's edition previously available for the PlayStation 4 version. It will be available via the Square Enix Online Store and will come with a Steam key for the game.

In addition, Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age producer Hiroaki Kato and director Takashi Katano will hold a special launch program on Thursday, February 2, at 12:00 AM PST. They will answer fan questions from Twitter. It will be streamed here.
