Bahamut Lagoon comes to Mobius Final Fantasy in January 2018

Written by Brayden — 01 Jan 2018

The January 2018 calendar for the global version of Mobius Final Fantasy is here and there's a lot to look forward to as usual.

Starting today there is a new limited time event called Palamecian New Dawn 2018 in order to celebrate the new year. Various exciting prizes will be available.

But that's just the start, also arriving today is a new Job in Ninja, Final Fantasy Record Keeper cards, a Supreme Card Summon and the return of Tyro from Final Fantasy Record Keeper to multiplayer.

January 9 will bring Red Mage to the Hall of Fame's Job Quests 2.

The biggest addition in my personal opinion comes on January 11. A new Sicariuses Isle called Bahamut Lagoon arrives. Defeat the Sicariuses for a chance to obtain 5 star fractal cards. And yes, Bahamut Lagoon is most likely a nod to the Super Famicom game that director Motomu Toriyama and scenario supervisor Kazushige Nojima worked on as their first game at Square.

On January 16 the Samurai will gain his new quests in the Hall of Fame.

While January 17 will bring Glam Vamp, a brand new Meia Job along with new Monk-type ability cards.

We're not done yet. January 18 brings the Yggdrasil Region. This special region will help us power up our ability cards.

January 22 will see the arrival of a brand new Ranking Event called Infidel Area which will be a test for Meia.

Finally, January 23 will bring the Assassin's Hall of Fame quests.

Happy new year everyone. Don't forget the Final Fantasy VII Remake event regions leave at the end of the month.

Mobius Final Fantasy is available worldwide as a free-to-play game via the Apple App Store for iOS devices, Google Play Store for Android devices and Steam for PC where it is also available in 4K and 60fps.
