Announcement teased for Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age livestream, Revenant Wings remaster?

Square Enix has announced that they will be holding a livestream on November 21, 2017 at 8:00 PM JST to celebrate Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age achieving one million total copies of the game in physical shipments and digital sales.

Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age producer Hiroaki Kato will be joined by Vaan’s Japanese voice actor Kouhei Takeda and Panelo’s in Marina Kozawa. Multiple special guests will join them through the live stream.

It's quite likely one of the special guests will be Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age director Takashi Katano but as for the others it's anyone's guess. Executive producer Shinji Hashimoto, composer Hitoshi Sakimoto and artists Akihiko Yoshida, Hideo Minaba and Isamu Kamikokuryo all seem quite possible. Supervisors Hiroshi Minagawa and Hiroyuki Ito would be a surprise, but a pleasant one as Ito has not been publicly seen in years.

Finally, they also teased there may be an announcement that will make fans happy. My first thought is a hopeful one. Could they be teasing a remaster or remake of Final Fantasy XII's sequel, Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings?

Revenant Wings was originally released in 2007 for the Nintendo DS and is currently celebrating it's 10th anniversary. The game set one year after the events of Final Fantasy XII follows Vaan and Penelo on a new journey with old friends and new in a real-time strategy game.

It was directed and written by the legendary director Motomu Toriyama who has directed the most Final Fantasy games ever and is no stranger to remasters after serving as supervisor on Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster. The game's staff also featured art supervisor Isamu Kamikokuryo, executive producer Akitoshi Kawazu and composer Hitoshi Sakimoto along with others who worked on Final Fantasy XII.

This is likely all wishful thinking on my part but I do love Revenant Wings.

It's also possible it's a PC port of Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age but I'm still expecting it to be released on PC a year after its release on PlayStation 4 just like Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster which would be July 11, 2018.

Another possibility is an antagonist from the game coming to Dissidia Final Fantasy.
