Final Fantasy Union's very own Darryl was lucky enough to interview Naoki Yoshida, the producer and director of Final Fantasy XIV and head of Square Enix Business Division 5. One of the questions he asked was in follow up to a comment Yoshida made in an earlier interview with Polygon.

Yoshida said in the interview with Polygon he doesn't get the urge to move onto a new game, explaining he can use ideas he comes up with in Final Fantasy XIV. But also that if the company asked him to make a new game he would of course consider it.

Yoshida said to Darryl: "Truthfully, I don't really have some big vision or something that I want to realize in a game. Of course, I have some ideas already for my next project and if I can make it in the future, then that would be great. But, it's not like I really need to do it." But he also said he would consider directing an offline Final Fantasy game if the company or fans asked him.
