Square Enix has announced at Paris Games Week 2017 that the long-awaited DLC: Final Fantasy XV Episode Ignis will be released on December 13, 2017.

It will be available worldwide via the PlayStation Store and Xbox Store for $4.99 USD (or what Episode Gladiolus and Episode Prompto cost in your region).

The episode will reveal what happened to Ignis during a part of the main story and will see him playable for the very first time. He will also team up with Ravus, high commander of the Niflheim Empire. It will also feature multiple endings.

Providing the music for this episode will be legendary composer Yasunori Mitsuda. While Mitsuda has never composed for a Final Fantasy game previously he helped compose Square's Chrono Trigger and Front Mission: Gun Hazard and composed Xenogears and Chrono Cross.

Finally, they have also revealed some artwork which you can see here.

You can check out a trailer for Episode Ignis and hear from Yasunori Mitsuda below.
