Final Fantasy IX is now finally available worldwide on PlayStation 4.

After it was rated via PEGI earlier today Square Enix has now released it after an announcement at Sony's Tokyo Game Show 2017 press conference.

As expected, it's a port of the remaster released last year for iOS, Android and PC.

It features HD movies and character models, an auto-save feature and seven boosters including high speed mode and no encounter mode, the Master All Abilities booster, which will allow players to automatically master equipped weapons and gear, as well as features to maximize character levels, magic stone counts and gil.

It also of course has the standard PlayStation 4 game features in trophies (including a platinum), remote play and share play.

Those who purchase the game will also receive an original PlayStation 4 custom theme designed by Final Fantasy IX's character designer Toshiyuki Itahana and eight PlayStation Network avatars.

PlayStation Plus subscribers will get a 20% discount for one week.
