Final Fantasy VII: Re-Imagined's Site is Down

UPDATE// According to some the access is intermittent. Hopefully this means the game's not dead just yet!

It's always crazy to see how far fans will go to celebrate their love for the Final Fantasy series. Recently a group of fans decided to take their love for Final Fantasy VII to a whole new level by creating a side scrolling beat 'em up. But after a couple days of fun it seems as though the site is currently down in the UK at least.

Final Fantasy VII: Re-Imagined is a fan-project browser title created by a studio in Singapore called "PD Design Studio". The game harkens to classic 2D beat 'em up games like Streets of Rage, but set in the world of Final Fantasy VII. You can play as Cloud or Tifa and it also used gameplay elements from the original title such as Materia and summons.

No word on whether or not they're just suffering from some technical difficulties or the game has officially been taken by Square Enix. Still, there's always people online who are good enough to supply us with YouTube videos of the amazing fan project that might've once been. Should you wish to try and access the main site, here's the address: http://ffvii-reimagined.com/

Here's a review we found on YouTube, below:
