Final Fantasy Agito+ Announced For PS Vita

Final Fantasy Agito+ Announced For PS Vita

Written by Darryl — 18 Sep 2014

Despite initial reservations about this year's Tokyo Game Show in relation to Final Fantasy news, it seems as though Square Enix has decided to blow the roof off!

In additional to the news about the Final Fantasy XV Demo and the Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Release Date, they have now announced that Final Fantasy Agito will be launching on the PS Vita in the form of Final Fantasy Agito+.

The game is scheduled to release on the 15th of January, 2015 in Japan (no Western release announced yet) and from what we understand, will be almost identical to the iPhone/Android version that released earlier in the year. However, given there's a big + on the end of the game's title, we are guessing there will be additional content that's packaged in.

The game will of course be playable on a larger screen, but one of the main differences at the moment relates to the different purchase options. Gamers will be able to download the title from the PlayStation Store for free, or they will have the option of buying a boxed version of the game at retail for 3,800 yen (about £20).

Stay tuned for more Final Fantasy news in the near future. We have more coming about Final Fantasy XV that will definitely be of interest.
