When Square Enix initially showed their lineup for TGS 2014, Final Fantasy XV was notably absent. However, Square Enix have pulled a nice surprise at TGS 2014 offering some new information and new footage for Final Fantasy XV.

First off, Tetsuya Nomura is no longer director of Final Fantasy XV. Hajime Tabata (Final Fantasy Type-0, Crisis Core) has taken over the director's chair allowing Nomura to focus more on Kingdom Hearts III.

In addition to this huge announcement, Square Enix have released a gorgeous new trailer offering some more insight to the gameplay and the characters of Final Fantasy XV. It definitely looks like the game is living up to its massive expectations.

Final Fantasy XV's release date has yet to be announced, but players will be able to play a demo of the game titled "Episode Duscae" if they purchase Final Fantasy Type-0 HD (March 17th).
