Final Fantasy Explorers Dated In Japan

Fantastic news everyone, well kind of! It's been revealed via the latest edition of Shonen Jump Magazine, that Final Fantasy Explorers will be releasing on the 18th of December, 2014 in Japan.

Why is this only kind of fantastic news? Well, we have still yet to receive any kind of confirmation that Final Fantasy Explorers will be releasing anywhere other than Japan. And given how cool the game looks, we are naturally rather disappointed about that.

If you haven't been keeping up with news about the game, it's a new action RPG that is exclusive to the Nintendo 3DS. It's said to be a cross between Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn and Monster Hunter and will very much suit four-player action.

We also know that there will be a heavy focus on jobs. Now, this isn't all that surprising considering the game is part of the Final Fantasy universe, but it's cool that you will be able to customise jobs to make more unique classes. There will be some classic jobs featured and two new classes that have just been revealed are Ninja and Time Mage.

As soon as we hear any more about Final Fantasy Explorers, you will be the first to know. Until then, we will just have to enjoy the fact that at least Japanese gamers will be able to experience the game before the end of the year.
