Sony Sells All Of Its Square Enix Shares

Sony has announced that the company will be selling all of its shares in Square Enix in the next few days ending a partnership that goes back years.

According to reports, 9,520,000 of Square Enix shares will be sold by Sony to SMBC Nikko Securities, one of the largest brokerage firms in Japan. From this Sony is expected to receive 4.8 billion yen (about $47 million) in profits for Q1.
