GamingUnion.net Reviews Final Fantasy XIII-2

Written by Darryl — 03 Feb 2012

GamingUnion.net, our parent site, has published its review of Final Fantasy XIII-2 after being given the opportunity to play through the game before its official release in North America on the 31st of January.

Although I would have loved to write the review myself, having reviewed Final Fantasy XIII in 2010, Colin was the lucky guy this time around and he felt the game, despite its improvements, deserved an 8/10.

Colin felt that while the plot was made interesting due to the time travelling element, there was little chemistry between the two main characters. He also felt that the soundtrack was very hit and miss - sometimes it was amazing, sometimes it was mind-boggling.

Anyway, click the link below to find out more about Colin's opinion in his rather detailed review. Our next episode of the Final Fantasy Union podcast will be a reaction episode to Final Fantasy XIII-2, so be sure to check it out.

Darryl was playing Final Fantasy before he was even born - quite a feat! Often very opinionated on the Final Fantasy franchise, you will often find him musing about small details. Feel free to follow him on Twitter.
