Square Enix Members have released a video interview with Final Fantasy XIII-2 Producer Yoshinori Kitase and Director Motomu Toriyama where the duo talk about the reception and what it was like developing the game. They also touch on the topic of downloadable content.

Kitase first noted that the team's key objective was to address the concerns fans had with Final Fantasy XIII, thus leading them to craft a more open and player driven experience.

The producer also mentioned that they have more unannounced DLC lined up in addition to the planned boss battles, costumes and episodic content. Currently, fans can get access to a number of pre-order bonuses depending on where they make their purchase, including the Omega Coliseum boss from Amazon, Serah's Genji Bow and Summoner Garb from GameStop, the -Episode I- Novella from BestBuy and the Battle of Valhalla poster from Walmart.

FFXIII-2 is out January 31 in North America and February 3 in Europe. Check out our Character Spotlights this week to learn more about the characters you'll encounter. Be sure to give our interview with Ali Hillis, the voice of Lightning, a listen too!
