Final Fantasy XIII-2 Soundtrack Site Opened

Square Enix has opened an official site for the Final Fantasy XIII-2 Official Soundtrack. You can get to it from here.

As expected from a soundtrack site, there are samples of some of the tracks from the soundtrack. Currently, only the first disc has been revealed. Masashi Hamauzu is back from Final Fantasy XII's soundtrack, but he is not alone as Naoshi Mizuta (Final Fantasy XI, Parasite Eve II) and Mitsuto Suzuki (Final Fantasy XIII, Zone of the Enders). There's even ORIGA (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex) and Nobuo Uematsu. Nobuo's song (as far as I can translate) is 'Groovy Chocobo'.

The soundtrack is going to be released December 14, which is one day before the release of the game. It will be available in a Standard Edition, which will be 3,990 yen and a Limited Edition which will be 4,800 yen. The Limited Edition also comes with a bonus DVD.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 will be released on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 on 15th December in Japan, 31st January for North America and 3rd February in Europe.
