Rasler Heios Nabradia
Final Fantasy XII
Minor Character
Rasler Heios Nabradia as he is fully known was the Prince of Nabradia, until one fateful day. During the opening sequences of the game, he marries Princess Ashe, thus sealing an alliance between Dalmasca and Nabradia.
Shortly after their marriage, Rasler while in King Raminas' council, is interupted by the news of Nabudis' peril that befell it. Rasler volunteers to lead a force to help reinforce Nalbina, and they leave for battle.
During the battle he and Basch fight with every ounce of strength they have and when the light from the cities paling falls, Rasler charges the enemy on his chocobo. However, as he does so, he is fired at by an Archadian archer. His neck is pierced by a single arrow and he falls from his chocobo into Basch's arms as Basch rushes to his aid.
Basch retreats with the Prince in tow, but Rasler sadly passes away before they reach Rabanastre, and Ashe is seen to mourn at his funeral.
Appearing As A Mirage
Rasler appears as a ghostly visage that seems to try to guide Ashe throughout her quest. However later it is revealed that this is nothing more than an illusion used by Gerun to sway Ashe's resolve.Rasler also is one of the various awards obtainable in the Sky Pirate's Den, and is received one every character has been round the licence board fully.
