Raijin
Final Fantasy VIII
Villain / Minor Character
Raijin, along with Fujin and Seifer Almasy, form the Balamb Garden Disciplinery Committee. They used this position to bully and enforce their own rule around Balamb. However, when Seifer left Balamb, both Raijin and Fujin followed suit and headed towards Galbadia Garden. They were under strict orders to pass on a message to the Galbadian Headmaster.
After Squall informs them that Seifer is presumed dead, Raijin is unwilling to listen and heads to Deling City to discover the truth with Fujin. Later, he becomes a General of the Galbadian army after reuniting with Seifer, and is next encountered in Balamb when they are searching for the whereabouts of Ellone.
Skirmishes With Squall
They meet inside the Balamb Hotel, but after a difficult fight, Squall and his friends are victorious. They fight again a short while later, only to be defeated again. When they are encountered a third time inside Galbadia Garden, they decide that they aren't in the mood for fighting.They are next seen inside the Lunatic Pandora, where they fight one last time. However, they let Squall confront Seifer, as he is no longer the man they once admired. Following the conclusion of the game, Raijun, Fujin and Seifer are seen enjoying a spot of fishing in Balamb.
