Playable Character
Formerly known as either Nomchan or Pig tails girl, Vanille is a playable character in Final Fantasy XIII. Little is actually known about her character other than she is a resident of Pulse.
She has been seen in ceremonial robes, and it is known that both Lightning and Snow have been tasked with protecting her, but it is unknown why. It was recently revealed that she is of the Sera race, and it is unknown how these people differ from Humans.
Her weapon of choice is a bow, and she also has the ability to summon; as shown by her ability to change a CD into the summon Carbuncle. This shows that she is a capable fighter, even if she doesn't necessarily look like it.
