High-Chief Zayalu is first encountered when the group head to Jahara. He informs them that they aren't the first group of humes that has passed through Jahara recently, as another band of people had passed through.
When asked about nethicite, he is unable to shed any light on them. However, he does direct the party towards the Great-Chief and requests that they give Supinelu a Jaya Stick.
