Fujin
Final Fantasy VIII
Villain / Minor Character
Fujin is usually accompanied by Raijin and the two of them are both members of the disciplinary committee at Balamb Garden, a group that was formed together with Seifer Almasy. They are also doted to following Seifer around at all times. Aside from having a rather unique appearence, her manner at which she addresses people is rather blunt to say the least.
Fujin thinks very highly of Seifer and following his defection from the Garden, she follows him, alongside Raijin. Headmaster Cid tries to stop them, but realises his efforts are futile. Instead, he asks that she delivers a message to the Galbadia Headmaster.
Confrontations At Galbadia Garden
When Squall meets Fujin at Galbadia Garden, he tells her that Seifer was executed for his actions against the Galabadian President. She doesn't believe him and rushes to Deling City. Later they actually meet up with Seifer and become generals of the Galdadian army in order to support him.When they are searching for Ellone later with the rest of the Galbadian forces, Squall and the others have a run in with her and Raijin. The two groups battle it out and unfortunatly she is defeated. Later on, they are met again in Galbadia Garden however they do not wish to fight Squall this time.
Meeting At The Lunatic Pandora
The next encounter with Fujin is in the Lunatic Pandora. However, they have doubts over the actions of Seifer and she tells him directly he's no longer the person she once admired. Allowing Squall to confront Seifer, she makes one more attempt to bring Seifer back to them. Unfortunately he can't oblige it, but he does wish her and Raijin a good life before fighting Squall once more.It is worth noting that Fujin carries the Guardian Force Pandemona, which can be drawn from her during one of the two battles against her. At the end of the game the two are seen alongside Seifer enjoying a spot of fishing, their friendship reunited.
