Square Enix is busy casting someone with PVC, who could it possibly be?
Can't say I'm surprised, Square Enix were showing off a ton of action figures at E3 this year, including Kai versions of Judge Magister Gabranth from FFXII and Cloud Strife from FFVII.
The Kai series holds a lot more detail than the regular and Square Enix have been pumping them out for popular franchises like Halo, Street Fighter, Metal Gear Solid and, of course, their own IPs like Deus Ex and FInal Fantasy for quite some time now.
Square Enix have released a short teaser trailer for Final Fantasy XIII-2, which will be at E3 next week. You can catch a glimpse of the new character Noel and a whole lot of familiar faces, including Serah's and Team NORA.
Here's the premise in case you missed it yesterday: Set a few years after Lightning and the others saved Cocoon, some survivors have decided to start over by rebuilding on Gran Pulse. Lightning, however, is nowhere to be found and thought dead by many, but Serah believes otherwise. When her town is suddenly overrun by monsters, a mysterious man named Noel appears to save her. Together, the two set off to find Lightning...
The first two in-game screenshots of Final Fantasy XIII-2 have appeared prior to E3! Not to mention, it's entirely in English complete with subtitles and battle menu.
Square Enix have confirmed that the game will be at E3 and we'll be getting a closer look at it when we check it out next Tuesday. I can finally safely say that without worry of ninjas jumping me now that it's official. Here's a blurb about the premise of XIII-2:
