Next FFVII Compilation Title To Be Unveiled At This Year's E3?
Musings
Today it was revealed that Square Enix would again be attending North America's premier gaming Expo E3, an event where they've had mixed reaction over the last few years. Last year they announced that Final Fantasy XIII would be coming to the Xbox 360 in North America and Europe alongside the Playstation 3 version, whereas in 2006 they announced the Fabula Nova Crystallis franchise.
In terms of Final Fantasy VII related activity at E3, they announced Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII in 2004 and they also announced Dirge of Cerberus: Lost Episode in 2006. However, other Final Fantasy VII related announcements have been scattered around other events such as the Square Enix Party, the Tokyo Game Show or even Jump Festa. Many of the western audience have become quite disillusioned with Square Enix recently, and an announcement of this magnitude would certainly help to regain some of the faith that they've previously shown Square Enix.
