Uh oh, it's Don Corneo, that absolutely pathetic fat piece of lard that tried to seduce Cloudia, and he wants to steal what we just stole belongs to us. Don't people ever learn? Stealing is bad.
It's a good thing we've got Darryl in our party, his British wits will save us. Either that or Corneo's just too easily distracted by the most disturbing of things. Will we escape with the Premium Hearts intact or will we forever have our eyes scarred by what lies behind? Find out in this week's chapter of our ever stupendous misadventures.
We all know that cosplayers have some of the most insane sense of dedication. From slaving away from dawn to dusk on their next best costume to painstakingly concentrating on even the most minute of details on a prop, it really requires an impressive amount of patience and dedication.
Well, then what does that say about these two ladies that snuck into an abandoned warehouse just to get a suitable setting for their Final Fantasy X-2 cosplay photoshoot?
Listen up and listen good, crime doesn't pay people. Got it memorized?
Oops, wrong game.
Anyway, it's Wednesday and we're back with another chapter of our lovely misadventures! Darryl and Colin made a bit of an exciting detour last week into the Honeybee Inn. Strange things happened, let's leave it at that.
This week, we explore the ins and outs of the Wall Market and in the midst of all the bustling sushi vendors and wise-crack fortune tellers lies an abandoned shed that houses a particular treasure. I think I know that you know what I'm talking about.
Eat your heart out fangirls, this week's cosplay feature proves that I'm not just browsing the web for good looking gals in Final Fantasy outfits (Okay, maybe I am). Anyway, back on topic. As usual, let's start off with who we've already showcased and they would be,
Yeah we're going to need a page for them cosplays eventually.
Genesis Rhapsados is the man of the week. Cosplayed by Otaru-Shirou, who has also cosplayed other characters including Squall from FFVIII and Riku from Kingdom Hearts II. Check out his killer cosplay after the jump, and more over at his deviantArt page. From the leather to the rapier and let's not forget his hair too, Otaru-Shirou makes a splendid Genesis.
We're back again with yet another chapter of our lovely misadventures. Last we left off, we had a bit of a run in with the local creatures of Midgar. Surely many of you recognize that evil house.
Now the duo's made their way towards the Wall Market and come across one of the more "popular" locales. In an attempt to find more information on what they could possibly take on next, the two push forward…and always remember, what happens in the HoneyBee Inn, stays in the HoneyBee Inn.
Alrighty, it's time for our cosplay of the week! Just to remind everyone, we've featured two lovely ladies previously and they are Stella (Sheila), who cosplayed a nigh-identical Stella Nox Fleuret, and blacklash90 (Jorlene) as Oerba Yun Fang from Final Fantasy XIII.
This week, thanks to the recommendation of blacklash90, I'm pretty ecstatic to feature one of her best friends, Tachibana Shizuka. She also goes by the name of RainerTachibana over at deviantArt. Now I've seen her cosplays before and let me just say this, they are amazing. The one in particular that we are featuring is her Lightning cosplay.
Alrighty, how's it going everyone? It's Monday so it's time for yet another blog entry.
Not much to say here but things have been going pretty good lately. We've got a steady stream of news comin' out from Square Enix as well as a bunch of random community events like the Character Battle and Cosplay of the Week. That character battle should be starting up soon, so look forward to that, it's gonna be legen - wait for it - dary!
Yeah my bad, just had to do that. Kudos to you if you get the reference, maybe I'll draw something up for ya! Speaking of which, I do believe Astharis raised the question if I would be drawing anything for the character battle and, well, perhaps I will!
Remember ye old days of running through the overworld, lacking potions and phoenix downs, your health is down to but a teeny slice of the health bar and dreading that one random battle that would send you packing back to the save point you reached about five hours before?
Yeah, those were the good days.
Well, it doesn't happen so much anymore since battles since Final Fantasy XII have not featured random assaults on your party. Instead, we've had the luxury of picking our fights, granted that introduces some sense of strategy - ie, he's too tough, let's go around - and it's true that there's only been two main entries into the franchise since then, XII and XIII, but let's not forget about all those spinoff games that Square Enix probably made a ton of cash from.
ANYWAY, I digress, it's Wednesday and I've miraculously not torn my hair out worrying about finishing the comic on time since, well, it's finished on time! Hooray, let's hope it stays that way. Last week we finally found Kyle and decided to make our way North, unfortunately we don't have a compass and so we follow the group of singing black cloaked dudes instead. They seem to know the way.
