I know, I know, this is a little late and I apologies. Things have been rather crazy this last week, not least because Final Fantasy XIII-2 was released and I've been trying to play as much of it as possible.
A ton of you will have already completed the basic story, but even if you haven't. Either way, the next episode of Final Fantasy Union will be a Final Fantasy XIII-2 dedicated show, so we want to know the following: What do you think about Final Fantasy XIII-2?
If possible, please try to sum up your thoughts in one sentence, so we can read them out easily on the show. Of course, if you want to say a lot more, then by all means do so. Maybe you could do a summary sentence and a long-winded post too? :D
I look forward to hearing your responses and reading them out on the show! Happy posting.
Back in September, Square Enix announced that they'll be having an HD release of Final Fantasy X for the Playstation 3 and Playstation Vita without any additional details, such as if it's a remake or remaster of the original title.
Recently however, we've finally recieved a specification about the upcoming title. At the 2012 Taipei Game Show held in Taiwan, Square Enix producer Shinji Hashimoto confirmed that the game will not be a remake, but rather an HD remaster of Final Fantasy X.
Earlier in January, Square Enix producer Yoshinori Kitase revealed that the game was in the "early development" stage. Hopefully we'll be hearing more about Final Fantasy X HD soon.
GamingUnion.net, our parent site, has published its review of Final Fantasy XIII-2 after being given the opportunity to play through the game before its official release in North America on the 31st of January.
Final Fantasy XIII-2 is out tomorrow and we’re celebrating its release with a fun little GUVaway for all the fans out there. It’s a simple quest and you won’t have to jump through the Historia Crux or any temporal anomalies to get to the prizes.
What do I do, kupo?!
There are a number of ways to enter and they’re all pretty simple. Read the rest of the post to find out!
Here's a lovely special trailer of Square Enix's upcoming 3DS rhythm game Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy. The trailer showcases the game's various modes, which are Field, Battle and Event respectively.
Each mode features a number of classic Final Fantasy music tracks and unique game mechanics. As seen in the trailer, Field mode is the calmest of all three modes, with Battle looking to be the most intense and Event being a special mode featuring each Final Fantasy's character and story themes.
The game is being developed by indieszero and it shares a lot of similarities to other popular rhythm games on the market such as Ouendan (Elite Beat Agents), DJ Max and Project Diva to a certain extent. It's certainly an interesting branch and, combined with Final Fantasy's top quality scores, may prove to be a fun experience.
Today's spotlight features a much older Hope Estheim and a brand new supporting character, Alyssa Zaidelle. The two are with the Academy, a research organization established to create a world independent of fal'Cie. A bit of caution, if you haven't played Final Fantasy XIII, this contains spoilers regarding Hope's backstory.
Hello there again and thanks for joining us for yet another character spotlight. Up next are NORA, the resistance fighters led by Snow Villiers, Serah's fiance. Again, no spoilers here, just information based on what Square Enix have released publically, we hope you find this informative!
